ProsafiaGaming has been under fire for key video game spoilers, such as the final boss and/or conclusion, that are shown in the thumbnail of his videos (particularly those for newly released games). Due to how brazenly he includes spoilers for the video games he plays in the thumbnail of his videos, ruining the surprise for those who haven't played said video game, this has caused many people to dislike his material.
"Crash Bandicoot 2 - 10 Life Easteregg" is the first video on Prosafia's channel. In the video, he plays Crash Bandicoot 2 and shows how a player can get 10 lives.
He has also come under fire for using clickbait in a number of his videos. For instance, in a video he made for the Nintendo Switch game Cuphead, the thumbnail features Cuphead and Mugman dressed as Mario and Luigi, even though such outfits aren't available for them to wear in-game.
After Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was leaked, data-mined, and pirated two weeks before the game's December 7, 2018, release date, many fans were concerned that he would start uploading videos of the game before the game's release and that he would ruin the game in the thumbnails. Many people aggressively petitioned to shut down his channel as a result of the uproar, but some went too far and started sending him death threats.
In response, ProsafiaGaming posted a "apology" letter on his Twitter account. He acknowledged the issue and advised users to ban his channel or use a video block plugin on their web browser to prevent spoilers.
