Andrew launched his YouTube channel in August of 2009. He became acquainted with YouTube as a kid and launched his own channel ‘Shark’. uploading his very first video where he vlogged about meeting Tobuscus the creator of ‘TobyGames’ on YouTube, titled “I MET TOBUSCUS!!” three years later.

Andrew is now more popular by his alter ego 09sharkboy on social media. Andrew posts child-friendly, fun-filled and entertaining gaming content which includes Minecraft Trolling, Minecraft Bedwars, and several fun Minecraft games and maps that he creates in collaboration with friends and well-known YouTubers, itsMooseCraft, UnspeakableGaming, and Favremysabre.

Shark’s trolling videos are among his most popular, as well as his first. His first trolling video was 7 years ago, and from this started a series. He started trolling some of his friends, and the videos went viral. He kept pumping out more of these videos, and his channel blew up.

He had many channels over the years, and he has three aside from his main currently but one of his channels has been renamed and is inactive as of now. SharkPlays is the Fortnite channel where he originally uploads the Minecraft Pocket Edition videos. As of now, his channel is inactive for over two years.

SharkAttack (formerly SharksLab) is the secondary Minecraft channel where his series is less dominant. This channel is more of a sprawled-out, less organized channel. The last video was uploaded on 5 June 2018. On that channel, he used to do Minecraft "steve" videos.

As of December 2020, his channel was renamed "SharkAttack" and he now uploads the reaction videos. Life of Shark is the fourth channel, based on vlogging. As said even by himself, this is more of a clickbait-based channel. He does challenge videos as well as update videos. He also has a new channel called SharkShorts, which has short-form gaming content.

Andrew earns most of his income from his many YouTube channels. He uploads as an individual content creator as well as a plethora of collaborations with his friends. His channels have flourished as he continued to produce more content.
