Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is a South Korean boy band created by Big Hit Music. Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and HueningKai are the group's five members.
They made their debut with the extended play (EP) The Dream Chapter: Star on March 4, 2019. The EP debuted and peaked at number one on the Gaon Album Chart and the Billboard World Albums Chart, and it debuted at number 140 on the US Billboard 200, making it the highest-charting debut album by any male K-pop group at the time.
TXT stands for Tomorrow X Together. The group's name in Korean is, which translates as "Tomorrow by Together" and is transliterated into Hangul; they do not have a distinct Korean version of their name. Their name refers to five people who "come together under one dream in hopes of building a better tomorrow" according to their website.
The group claimed in their first interview with MBC's Section TV that they prefer to be addressed by their full names rather than their initials.

Big Hit Entertainment founder Bang Si-hyuk announced plans for a second boy group as early as 2017, with a debut date slated for early 2019. On January 10, 2019, TXT was officially unveiled. Over the next ten days, YouTube videos featuring each member, termed “introduction films,” were uploaded.

Big Hit Entertainment announced the May 18 release date for TXT’s second EP, The Dream Chapter: Eternity, which will be lead by the single “Can’t You See Me?” on April 28. The album sold over 181,000 units in its first week and debuted at number two on the Gaon Album Chart.
It debuted at number one on the Oricon Albums Chart, making it the band’s first Japanese chart-topper. The album was certified platinum by the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA) in July 2020 for 250,000 album shipments, giving TXT their first certification in the country since their debut.

On May 9, 2022, they released their fourth EP, Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child, and its lead single, “Good Boy Gone Bad”. Six days following the announcement, pre-orders topped 810,000 copies on April 20, 2022. To promote the EP, the band embarked on their first world tour, Act: Lovesick, which began in July.
