Forest in Minecraft

Forest biomes are a very common biome filled with flowers, oak trees, and birch trees. Players can find flowers such as lily of the valley, rose bushes, peonies, and poppies here. Forests are one of the most preferred biomes to start a survival world, serving abundant amounts of wood, grass, flowers, water, and passive mobs, and they do not have many dangers aside from the usual hostile mobs. Players will find wolves in this biome which can be tamed and can be helpful for fighting off hostile mobs.

Variants

Forests have two variants, one being flower forests and the other depending on the type of tree that the forest is filled with, for example; Oak forests or Spruce forests. Flower forests are filled with flowers and have a lower number of trees compared to other forest biomes. Forests that are based on the type of tree will be mostly populated with that specific tree in large numbers.

Forest biomes are filled with plenty of hostile, passive, and neutral mobs. Hostile mobs such as zombies, skeletons, creepers, zombies, endermen, slimes, and zombie villagers can be found across the forest biomes. Passive and neutral mobs that spawn include sheep, cows, pigs, chickens, and wolves.

The Forest is a common biome that is quite useful for players as it houses a lot of resources and mobs that can be used by the players for various purposes.
