Gameplay

Minecraft is a game where players can interact with a fully modifiable three-dimensional environment made of blocks and entities. The game was developed by Mojang Studios. The game was first made public in May 2009 before fully releasing in November 2011.

In Minecraft, players will find themselves exploring almost-infinite worlds. Depending on the game mode, they will have different experiences in Minecraft. Gameplay in most game modes of Minecraft consists mainly of adding and destroying a variety of different blocks in a randomly generated world. But you cannot break blocks in Adventure and Spectator mode.

With these blocks, players can simulate the world around them, building and destroying structures. As gameplay in Minecraft is so open and unguided, it lets players choose how they want to play the game.

Game Modes

Minecraft has 5 Game Modes, namely:

Survival Mode
Creative Mode
Adventure Mode
Spectator Mode (Java Edition only)
Hardcore Mode (Java Edition only)

In Minecraft by default, players spawn in survival mode unless it is changed when creating a new world. After survival, the creative mode is the second most popular game mode. One will need commands to change their game modes.
