The sandstone slab is a half-block version of sandstone. It can be both crafted using a crafting table or cut using a stonecutter. Sandstone slabs can be picked up by simply breaking them with a pickaxe. Placing a sandstone slab on top of another will turn it into a full sandstone block.

These slabs don't have any specific use and cannot be used as a substitute for crafting recipes that require stone slabs of any kind.
