Trader llama in Minecraft

In Minecraft, trader llamas will naturally spawn in the game and these trader llamas will be leashed to a wandering trader. As you play the game, the wandering trader and its trader llamas will come and find you. If you break the lead between the wandering trader and the trader llama, you can tame and ride the trader llama, just like you can with a regular llama.

A trader llama will try to follow the wandering trader that it is leashed to. They are neutral mobs but will become hostile if you attack them or the wandering trader. Once aggravated, they will spit at you which deals damage. What is unique about a trader llama is that it will attack hostile mobs, whereas, a normal llama will not.

Upon their death, the trader llama will drop some pieces of leather, leads a chest or carpet if it was equipped with one, and a few (1-3) experience orbs. Make sure that you pick up any dropped items before they disappear.

Trader llamas are similar to llamas but are quite different in their behavior and how they spawn. They can only be found around wandering traders and have no other means of spawning naturally. They are a neutral mob that will become hostile if attacked or aggravated. Players can tame them after they have released them from the leash attaching them to the wandering trader.
