The wooded hills are a biome that is made up of a large number of hills and mountains that are covered in oak trees, birch trees, and grass blocks. Since v1.18, the wooded hills biome is not considered a standalone biome and is now a part of the forest biome as a whole. This biome receives average precipitation, meaning it sees rain from time to time.

Hostile mobs such as zombies, skeletons, creepers, zombies, endermen, slimes, and zombie villagers can be found across the wooded hills biomes. They are also one of the few places where you can wind wild wolves. Wooded hills are of multiple types but only two variants.
