Evan Fong, popularly known online as Vanoss Gaming, is a Canadian YouTuber, gaming commentator, social media personality, and music producer with an estimated net worth of $25 million as reported by Celebrity Net Worth as of 2024.

Fong ventured into the world of YouTube on 15 September 2011, and registered his channel under the name VanossGaming, inspired by his dad’s PlayStation alias vanoss63, which in turn was taken from a BMW engine at the time. He is mostly known for his gaming montages, his gaming commentaries while playing Garry’s Mod and GTA V with his friends on YouTube, and also for being a music producer under the alias Rynx.

In his early years as a content creator on YouTube, he met a number of other creators, namely H2ODelirious, Moo Snuckel, I AM WILDCAT, Daithi De Nogla,BasicallyIDoWrk, Mr. Sark, fourzer0seven, Terroriser, SMii7Y and BigJigglyPanda among many others who came to be known as the “Vanoss Crew” and the “Banana Bus Squad”. They would later become staple features in Fong’s gameplay videos.

Vanoss Gaming was at one point the second most subscribed gaming channel after PewDiePie, owing to the channel’s aura of playing casually and having fun with your friends, something that a lot of viewers could relate to. Due to this comedic banter and laid back style of content, the channel started gaining a lot of popularity and eventually Vanoss Gaming earned an incredible 1.1 million subs per month by the start of 2014, as reported by Social Blade. By the end of 2014, Fong’s channel had amassed over 10 million subscribers, and by January 2015, the channel boasted an impressive view count of over two billion. Currently, Vanoss Gaming has over 25 million subscribers and has been viewed over 15 billion times.

By April of 2017, Fong had amassed over 7 billion video views and over 20 million subscribers. He decided to further expand his empire by registering his second YouTube channel under the name Rynx, and started focusing on DJing and producing music. He is currently signed to Avant Garden who subsequently helped him release his first single, Want You, after his remix of They’s U-Rite was well received. The following year, Rynx filmed his first music video and since then has gone on to release seven singles. He announced his debut album titled In Pieces, in September 2019, and also released a second album titled In Pieces (The Remixes), in July 2020.

As a direct result of his popularity as a gaming content creator on YouTube, Fong announced that he was appointed as the creative director for Dead Realm, an upcoming video game. He has also worked on two animated series, namely Paranormal Action Squad, which aired on YouTube Red and Alpha Betas, which aired on Fong’s channel.
