By definition, any person or individual who creates, produces, and shares their videos for anyone to see via any platform is called a content creator. This brings us to the conundrum that all YouTubers are content creators but all content creators are not YouTubers, as content can take the form of images, audio, words, or videos, which allows content creators to be bloggers, memers, designers, etc. whereas more specifically, any content creator choosing YouTube as their medium of expression is referred to as a YouTuber, a term which became a part of the English lexicon in 2006 following its first usage.
