Enchanting your things is one of the quickest ways to increase strength, loot quicker in Minecraft, but you need an Enchanting Table to do that. It is always one of the key goals of players to get the required items to create an Enchanting Table to attain the added benefits that come alongside.
The table can enchant all tools, armour and gear except shears, flint and steel, shield, lead, horse armour, and a few other items.
You will find the enchantment table already in your inventory if you are playing in Creative mode. It may be classified under Miscellaneous, Decorations or Objects, depending on the version of the game you are playing.
To make an Enchanting Table in Minecraft, you need:
Diamond:
Diamonds are one of the rarest ores in Minecraft most commonly found at y-coordinates 10 and 11, preferably on layers 5-12. They can only be mined with an iron pickaxe or higher, and, while there are only two in the recipe itself, you would need to find at least five to make an enchanting table.
Obsidian:
Obsidian is a dark black block that only emerges as lava is struck by rushing water. By making buckets, you can make this happen yourself. With a bucket, scoop up the lava and dump it into a four-block pit. Pour the water such that it flows down into the lava from a certain height. Doing this will result in the lava turning into obsidian. Mine four obsidian blocks as soon as you create your diamond pickaxe, which requires 3 diamonds and two sticks to make.
Book:
A book is the last item required before we can begin the crafting process. One way to get a book is by crafting it. As discussed in how to make a map guide, three sugar canes have to be placed in a row to craft paper, while the lather is most commonly given by the cow as loot. Once you have the leather and papers, craft a book using this recipe:
An easier method, however, could be breaking down bookshelves in villages.
To make an Enchanting table, open the crafting area made up of the 3x3 grid. Place 1 book in the center of the first row, 2 diamonds on either side of the second row, then fill the remaining box in the second row, as well as the entirety of the third row, with Obsidian. Your Enchanting table has been made, simply click it and move it to your inventory.
Here is the step-by-step pictorial guide you need to follow to make an Enchantment Table in minecraft:
First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3x3 crafting grid similar to the picture below:
This guide explains more about how to make a crafting table.
The recipe requires two diamonds to be placed. As the picture below dictates, place two diamonds. One in the first cell of the second row, and the send in the third cell of the second row.
Fill the last row completely with one block of Obsidian in each cell, and place the remaining one in the second cell of the second row.
We have placed the Obsidian and the Diamonds, now the only thing remains is the book. Drag your book from the inventory and carefully place it in the second cell. Only then will the crafting take place as intended.
Since the crafting has finished, all that remains is to drag the table in your inventory.
Give command: /give @p enchanting_table 1
You can now level up all your tools, armour, and improve your gameplay in just a few clicks. Mining, farming, and even killing mobs will be easier than ever. For best results, place the enchanting table in a room with 15 bookshelves placed down in a two-block radius square around the table itself.
