Watson registered his YouTube channel on September 14, 2006, under the name Ph1LzA. The channel was inactive for a month and a half until Phil uploaded the very first video on December 9, 2006. The video titled, Ph1LzA Montage 4 PREVIEW, earned over 173,069 views and featured the best clips from his live streams playing HALO back in the JustinTV era, the predecessor of Twitch.

Phil always intended to use his YouTube channel as an archive for the nuttiest plays and shots he ever made while playing popular gaming titles like HALO, Skate 3, and GTA IV, among many others.
