Arsement has been making his presence felt on YouTube since the year 2010 when he first created his channel and his once newfound hobby of gaming has now propelled him into stardom. However, before Preston became a full-time YouTuber, he was going to college to become a surgeon. During the summer after graduating, he started second-guessing about becoming a surgeon.
He revealed that he got into some “bad stuff” and started lying to his parents. It was around this time that he decided that college wasn’t for him. He finally decided to return to his YouTube channel, TBNRfrags, which at the time had around 200 subscribers. As his YouTube channel grew, he started uploading and live streaming more and more until eventually Machinima reached out and partnered with his channel.
Preston’s first-ever video on his main channel dates back to January 16, 2013.
Preston’s parents realized that YouTube could become a career for him that he made money from, but more importantly, it could be a career that he loved and from that point on, Preston became a full-time YouTuber. Unlike other full-time gamers on social media, Preston didn’t always dream of choosing a career path as an e-gamer, but as technology took over, he found himself engrossed in gaming almost every waking hour, and that paved the way for making this a full-time job.
Preston’s first channel ‘TBNRFrags’, mostly revealed Preston’s incredible ‘Call of Duty’ and ‘Black Ops’ skills to his followers on the internet. His talents didn’t go unnoticed and in less than a few years, Preston gained over 1.5 million subscribers. In 2012, this young man shifted gears from COD to other games like ‘Castle Crashers’ and ‘Far Cry’ and even started a new dedicated channel called ‘PrestonPlayz’.
Though it was originally meant for those new games, Preston eventually drifted towards ‘Minecraft’ and now this channel has been in the spotlight for his classic commentaries and prowess at the game. Preston now has over 7 channels, including his main channel, at the moment, TBNRFrags, PrestonGamez, PrestonPlayz, PrestonCosmic, PrestonShorts, PrestonCartoonz, and PrestonReacts. These channels have propelled him to be the sixth-highest-earning YouTube personality in 2020. Preston also owns a Minecraft server called CosmicPvP, along with another YouTuber, MrWoofless. The server opened in 2014 and with many game modes, including Factions, HCF, and KitPvP. He has played on this server many times on his channel, especially in his factions series.
Arsement was ranked by Forbes as the sixth highest-earning YouTuber in 2019 with $14 million in estimated earnings, driven primarily through the Minecraft servers he runs. Preston still is one of the highest-paid YouTube stars on the planet. In 2020, once again he was the sixth-highest earning YouTube personality with $19 million in income, and as of 2024, that number has increased to $25 million, as stated by Celebrity Net Worth.
Arsement primarily earns from his Minecraft servers and his YouTube videos. The figures of earnings from his Minecraft servers are currently unknown, but we can estimate his earnings from YouTube. Sponsored content that Preston does also contributes to his net worth through brand collaborations and promotions. Get detailed information about Preston's net worth.
Preston’s dominance on social media is very evident with over 10.5 million TikTok followers, while on Instagram he has 1.7 million followers, and on Twitter, he has 1.8 million followers.

He studied at the Travis Academy of Fine Arts and graduated from high school a few days after his 17th birthday. He also previously worked as a lifeguard before becoming a full-time YouTuber. Keeley, Caleb, Joshua, and his father all have their own channels: KeeleyPlayz, TbnrCJ, TBNRJosh, PapaFrags, and Brianna, respectively.
