Sourav began his YouTube career in 12th standard. He created the channel Sourav Joshi Arts, where he broadcasted videos of himself sketching. On September 5, 2015, Sourav entered the world of YouTube and launched his art channel where he has 4.03 million subscribers now. His video “How I Draw Hairs | Step by step” is his most watched video with over 15 Million views and 450K likes. He earned the YouTube Silver Play Button for his channel 'Sourav Joshi Arts' in 2018.

In 2019, he launched a new YouTube channel, Sourav Joshi Vlogs. The first video on the channel was a sketch guide titled 'How I Draw Ms Dhoni.' He became well-known for the vlogs he posted during Covid-19's first wave. He posts movies of his homeland, Uttrakhand, to promote its beauty and culture. He made 365 videos in 365 days throughout the lockdown.

Sourav Joshi was born on September 8th, 2000 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. His father’s name is Harinder Joshi and he is a carpenter. His mother’s name is Hema Joshi and she is a homemaker. He also has two younger brothers, Piyush and Sahil. Sourav completed his Bachelor’s Degree in fine arts from Punjab Group of Colleges and his schooling was done at Government High School, Hisar, Uttarakhand.

Sourav also likes sports, and his favorite sport is cricket. Other than cricket, he also likes to play football and his other hobbies include dancing and sketching. He also has a pomeranian dog whose name is Oreo.
