Brad started his career as a YouTube gamer way back in 2011 when he registered the now-iconic TheGamingLemon YouTube channel on June 30, 2011. Leman uploaded his first video on July 9, 2011, and it was a Let’s Play of the popular life simulation video game, The Sims 3. The first out of 42 parts, this video titled ‘The Sims 3 [Xbox 360]: Let's Play! Ep.1 - Making Jeffery Troller!’, entails the creation of Leman’s famous character, Jeffery Troller.
Following his Sim 3 Let’s Plays, Leman started uploading more Let’s Plays of popular gaming titles like Minecraft, Call of Duty : Black Ops, GTA IV, and Saints Row to name a few.
Out of all these titles, Brad’s Let’s Plays of GTA IV helped him establish himself as one of the leading gaming content creators on YouTube. Thanks to GTA’s ability to be modded, the game had the potential to never grow old. Lemon’s GTA IV Let’s Plays subsequently became viral as veterans and noobs alike watched his ‘funtages’, a combination of the words fun and montages. With added sound effects, a soundboard consisting of dramatic music timed perfectly to evoke comedic reactions, new characters, and friendly NPCs who actually were given personalities, his GTA IV: How To Play Hunter! (Fun Private Match Game) YouTube video popped off. This video in comparison to the other videos on TheGamingLemon at the time amassed over 258,399 views, making it the second most viewed video at the time in July 2011.
However, with Rockstar games' decision to release GTA V in late 2013, Leman decided to ditch GTA IV and immediately focused on creating content on the newly-released fifth installment in the GTA franchise. Building on his funtage style videos, Lemon’s GTA V videos amassed millions of views which made Brad become one of the most popular gaming content creators on YouTube.
He uploaded his first GTA V video on September 20, 2013, and the video earned over 8,241,871 views. The popularity of this and the rest of Brad’s GTA V videos helped TheGamingLemon channel earn over 1 million subscribers by January 12, 2014.

As of August 2022, TheGamingLemon YouTube channel has amassed an impressive 4 million subscribers. However, Brad achieved this feat by the end of 2020. Since 2020, Brad has not been as consistent in uploading new content on his YouTube channel and the latest video as of August 2022 was uploaded to the platform on March 18, 2022.
However, Brad registered another YouTube channel on April 5, 2022, under the name TheOtherLemon. The channel currently has 25 videos all of which are Let’s Plays of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. As mentioned in the description section, this channel focuses on content from his livestreams on Twitch.
