Nguyễn first registered VinhMC on June 28, 2016, as a gaming channel meant for exclusively producing Minecraft related content. The channel was inactive for just over a week before it saw its first video go live on July 7, 2016. The video titled “Minecraft: Pyramid Seed Code (PC) and first video recording” featured a commentary on Minecraft and earned over 184K views.
