Who is ZexyZek

On June 18, 2012, John launched his YouTube channel. He published several videos but later took them down because they were "unorganised" and "didn't have a purpose".

“Minecraft: HD Texture Pack Review - Sphax PureBD Craft 128x” is the oldest available video on his channel. He reviews the HD texture pack of Minecraft in the video.

His subsequent videos, all of which focused on Minecraft, featured minigames, mod reviews, and how-to videos. John had a variety of other YouTube series, many of which he produced with his friend Ryan "Swiggity Wiggity", such as the Walking Dead Mod Pack and a number of parodies. With the exception of the 2,500,000 special, John would make a live video with his friends and create skits and activities based on suggestions from fans for each 100,000 subscriber milestone.

Zek is currently producing Skate 3 videos rather than Minecraft videos, and by doing so, he has attracted a new audience and is slowly regaining subscribers. A Skate 3 Challenge video is his second-most popular.

On August 17, 2012, John started his popular series, "Minecraft Trolling" which would become the highlight of his YouTube channel. He would roam around his server and many others, "trolling" players with a variety of Server Plugins.
