Snowball in Minecraft

The snowball is a harmless projectile that players can throw at mobs and at each other. Snowballs are also thrown by snow golems when they attack other mobs, they don't do any damage but instead push them back.

How to get snowballs?

The most common and easiest way to get snowballs is by simply using a shovel to break snow blocks. Players can get between 1 and 8 snowballs from breaking or blasting snow layers. This number cannot be increased with enchantments such as Fortune or Looting. Players can find snowballs in loot chests in ancient cities and in snowy village chests.

What is the use of snowballs?

Snowballs are throwable items that are affected by gravity similar to how eggs are thrown. They don't deal damage to players and mobs except for blazes. When a blaze is hit by a snowball they take 3 damage from it. Snowballs can be used to craft snow blocks.
