Ziegler’s career started out when she was only 8 years old. A. Ziegler and Lukasiak became friends when they were both contestants in the show Dance Moms. Lukasiak and her mother had a spat with the show’s producers and left the studio later to join their rival studio. The two tried to maintain their friendship, but in a “throwback Tuesday” Dance Moms special in July 2015, Ziegler said, “We haven’t really talked to each other, and things have changed between us... It’s really sad because I obviously miss her.”
