Alex Kushelevskiy, also known popularly as AkaFormula or Formula, is a Russian-American YouTuber, gamer, and social media personality with an estimated net worth of $1.5 million as reported by multiple sources. He first rose to prominence owing to his gaming content, which helped him earn an affiliation with the FaZe Clan and eventually with Luminosity Gaming.
Formula started his gaming career during his teenage years when he became passionate about Call of Duty. He soon came across people with the same love for the game and eventually founded the Red Reserve YouTube gaming channel where he fostered a small impassioned community of Call of Duty players. He registered the now-defunct YouTube channel in November 2014. Despite founding the team, TubeFilter reports that Kushelevskiy chose to manage the clan rather than compete with or make content for them.
He made scattered appearances throughout managing Red Reserve as a gamer and commentator, and eventually managed to get the Red Reserve affiliated with the FaZe Clan. For a long period of time, Red Reserve was treated as a smaller surrogate organization under the FaZe Clan. This tie-up allowed Formula to collaborate with FaZe Clan members and started making occasional Call of Duty collaboration videos.
Following the eventual dissolution and disbanding of the Red Reserve, Formula started leaning toward content creation more than management, following his notable bad experience during his first managerial stint.
Around the same time, Epic Games released their popular Battle Royale, Fortnite. Formula decided to make the switch from CoD to Fortnite and eventually registered his self-titled YouTube account on May 9, 2017.
He found a lot of success as a content creator and first achieved virality when his video “NICEST 10-YEAR-OLD EVER ON FORTNITE GIVES ME HIS SCAR! (EMOTIONAL)” got over a couple of million views within the first few months. Formula was eventually signed up by Luminosity Gaming in 2019 as a content creator and subsequently represented One Percent after being dropped by LG. Currently, Kushelevskiy is managed by Up North Management.
