Morgan Hudson, popularly known as Morgz online, is a British YouTuber with an estimated net worth of $4 million in 2023.
He first rose to prominence thanks to his pranks, challenges, and vlog videos. Morgz is the creator of the famous Pause Challenge that went viral all over social media and his channel is generally considered one of the best prank channels on the platform.
Hudson originally joined YouTube on June 10, 2014, and registered his channel under the name LegendaryGamerHD. Most of his content back in the day was centered around gaming and featured popular titles like FIFA, Minecraft, and Call of Duty. To grow his channel, his initial subscriber goals came with a change in moniker, and that is how we ended up with Morgz today.
When he reached 500 subscribers, Hudson changed his name to AngryGamer and upon reaching the 1000 subscriber count, Hudson changed his name to MorgzGaming. He liked the name and stuck with it, only dropping ‘Gaming’ to make his name look cleaner.
The first couple of years were nothing special, but all of that changed when Hudson uploaded a series of FIFA 17 videos which notably went viral, with one of them even receiving over two million views in a couple of days. He eventually jumped on the bandwagon for Pokémon GO and ended December 2016 with one million subscribers, as reported by SocialBlade. Building on this, Hudson decided to adapt his content over time and move on to become a vlogger that also featured gaming content.
Given that he started at a young age, most of his content initially was not taken seriously because it's exaggerated and childish. Recently, Hudson has tried to improve upon the nature of his content, displaying noticeably less over-exaggeration and childishness.
Apart from him, Morgan’s mom is a considerable part of his brand and his channel and is often featured in his video as either a guest or the victim of his many pranks. According to SocialBlade, the Morgz YouTube channel nearly doubled its million subscribers in June 2017 and subsequently hit five million and 10 million subscribers in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Currently, the channel has over 11.5 million subscribers and over two billion views.
The success of the Morgz YouTube channel prompted Hudson to register three other YouTube channels, namely, MorgzFest, registered in November 2013, MorgzClips, registered on February 7, 2021, and MorgzLive, registered on March 24, 2022. MorgzFest was created with the sole purpose of promoting his own ‘Family Fun Day’ fest which featured Morgz and his mom. MorgzClips features popular clips from his YouTube videos and live streams. MorgzLive was created as the name suggests for live-streaming, either video games or just chatting.
Morgan Hudson has earned an impressive net worth of $4 million as reported by multiple sources. Morgz’s primary source of income remains to be AdSense revenue from his multiple YouTube channels as well as brand endorsements and revenue from merchandise sales.
Net Worth Spot estimates that the Morgz YouTube channel has an estimated net worth of about $1.46 million on its own and the channel earns an estimated $365,400 a year, based on the estimate that YouTube channels earn anywhere between $3-$7 per one thousand views. However, these are conservative estimations and Hudson could very well earn over $657,720 a year.
Social Blade reports Morgz earns anywhere between $1,600 - $24,800 per month and anywhere between $18,600 - $297,600 per year. Apart from this, he has two other YouTube channels that would also add a considerable amount of money to his impressive income from the main Morgz YouTube channel.
Hudson on multiple occasions has been sponsored by companies such as Spotify, G2A, and GT Omega Racing, among many others.
Hudson also has his own line of merchandise called The Morgz which features signature tees, hoodies, accessories, and many other types of apparel.
Not a lot of information is available about the real estate owned by Hudson. Multiple sources have reported that Morgz owns a Lamborghini Aventador ($600,000) and on two separate occasions has gifted his mother Range Rovers worth an undisclosed amount.
