On July 12, 2011, Jerome signed up for YouTube. On August 17, 2011, he posted an episode of Big Boy Adventure as his first video.

“Minecraft - BIG BOY ADVENTURE Episode 1” is the title of the oldest video on the JeromeASF channel. This video started his Minecraft let’s play videos series which has since become one of the most popular video series on his channel.

After meeting SkyDoesMinecraft in April 2012, Jerome and Mitch joined Team Crafted. Team Crafted was a group of Minecraft YouTubers who frequently collaborated on recordings and supported one another as they gained popularity on YouTube. Because of how much his Minecraft skin resembles Chewbacca from the Star Wars series, Jerome was frequently referred to as Bacca by Team Crafted members and his fans. His fictional character, the Bacca, and its adventures in the world of Minecraft are the subject of two books that he has written and published.

After SkyDoesMinecraft, Deadlox, HuskyMudkipz, and the majority of the rest of the team left, Jerome was one of Team Crafted’s last surviving members. In March 2014, he announced his departure from Team Crafted as a self-described “co-owner/director”.

Merome was the name given to Jerome and Mitch. Jerome, Mitch, and Ian’s video series Pixelmon, which he claims is his favorite of all his productions, is where the name Merome first appeared.

Jerome began recording with Biffle and Sigils in 2017. Later on, he met Biffle and Sigils and got along incredibly well with them. Jerome reunited with SSundee as well after spending two years recording with Biffle and Sigils. SSundee made close friends with Biffle and Sigils as well.

At one point, Jerome was majoring in biology while attending Rutgers University in his home state, but he left to focus on his YouTube career instead.

He participated in the boy's fencing team while he was a student at Ridge High School. Despite having no interest in competition, he took part in debating in high school. He attributes his ability to speak in-depth about any subject to his experience in debating in school. He spent a semester studying biology at Rutgers University before leaving to focus on Youtube.

In New Jersey, Jerome currently has a German Shepard named Shadow, and in Florida, he had Cookie the bunny who died in 2021. Currently, Jerome is in a relationship with Tori and now has a pet golden retriever named Peanut.

He had previously worked for several businesses before YouTube. He established MerchForAll (formerly Nice Posture Clothing).

1. Jerome acknowledged his red-green colorblindness on Twitter. He claimed that on one of his most recent tests, he correctly identified 3 out of 8 colors. In his videos, Jerome frequently discusses his color blindness.
2. He created a series called “Flash Player Mania,” in which he played flash games in the browser; regrettably, he has since deleted all of these videos from his channel in an effort to focus only on Minecraft.
