Terraria Critters

There are many different kinds of creatures to encounter in Terraria. While many of them can be menacing and provide harsh battles, others are more on the softer side. Critters are ambient creatures that spawn mostly for aesthetic purposes in Terraria’s foreground. You can kill them just like any other mob, but you can also catch and collect many different kinds of animals.

There are dozens of different critters in the game. There are different variants of birds, owls, and ducks, but there are also smaller insect critters that you can catch to use for fishing. Some critters are incredibly rare, which also makes them highly valued.
