Terraria Game Mechanics

There are certain mechanics that are unique to Terraria and can take some time to adjust to. Most of your keybinds can be found in the controls menu of your pause screen or the main menu. While some mechanics like the breath meter, buffs, inventory, and others are commonplace in many survival-craft games, Terraria also provides you with unique ways to generate worlds, utilize different damage types, and even take advantage of the phases of the moon.
