King Slime

King Slime can be spawned by a player using a Slime Crown, or can be spawned after the player has defeated 150 slimes during the Slime Rain event. King Slime will rarely spawn in the outer lateral sixths of the map, during daytime, or only on grass. King Slime can be encountered regardless of the current level in game advancement.

The King Slime behaves in a similar way to a regular slime, though the King Slime is more resilient and teleports and jumps much faster. The King Slime summons regular slimes, and will also summon Spiked Slimes in Expert mode. The King Slime is also the only boss that takes lava damage.

The King Slime does not drop Gel, but the slimes it summons will, serving as a good way to farm Gel. Killing the King Slime on Expert Mode will give 10 gold on average after selling all the drops. The King Slime will also drop the ninja vanity set.
