Pons began her venture by initially making reels in the now-defunct app, Vine. Initially, she said she used to make videos with her friends, which was not very good or funny. However, her content gradually got better and gained views.
Through her funny and relatable content on Vine, Pons found fame and went on to be the third most followed Viner with 11.5 million followers and reached one billion loops. After the app shut down in 2016, Lele along with other Viners shifted to YouTube. Coming to her personal life, Pons got married to Puerto Rican rapper Guaynaa (Jean Carlos Santiago Pérez) on March 4, 2023.
