Hailee started out on Musical.ly with a friend of hers. She then started posting her own stuff and began researching how her initial videos got views on Musical.ly. They say that they found a niche but then correct themselves, saying that a niche had found them. Their first viral video was a pick-up line video. They created a HaileeandKendra hashtag which got more than half a billion views on the hashtag alone.
