He got his start as a creator on Vine and later moved to posting on social media platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. He is the co-founder and CEO of Amp Studios, a content creation company formed in 2018. He also founded the Amp Squad, a YouTube creation collective, that same year.
Rivera is known for starring as Isaac Salcedo in the television series “Light As A Feather” from 2018. He is also known for writing, producing, directing, and starring in his self-titled TV series MrBrent98 between 2016 and 2018.

Brent and Pierson met on the set of a dating show called ‘Date Takeover’. Pierson was a contestant on one of the episodes. The show’s premise was that Lexi, Brent’s younger sister, would choose who would date Brent, and ultimately Pierson won. She was later introduced to Brent’s friend circle. Brent Rivera was dating Eva Gutowski at that time. Eventually, they became very close friends, appearing in each other's videos and social media posts. After his break-up with Eva, Brent reportedly started dating Pierson in 2020.
They have played practical pranks on each other for Brent’s YouTube videos, like the time he was arrested by cops while he was meeting her father, making Pierson fight with Eva on supposed grounds of enmity, and even faking a severe, near-death nut allergy reaction in front of her. They were recently spotted at Coachella in 2022, and since the start of their relationship, they have been going strong ever since.
