Swavy posted a somber video on April 12, 2020, featuring a person in a hospital bed, along with the caption: “I promised you I would make it for you before you left me I don't wanna let you down momma,” followed by a sad face and broken heart emojis, but she was still alive and going through a severe illness.Since Swavy's passing, his mother Chantelle Clark has spoken up about her son to CBS3 in Philadelphia and TMZ.
Swavy's mother says about her condition -“Treatment can help but this condition can’t be cured. She had a good amount of time left to die until one day…. She cut herself and she patched it up thinking everything would be fine…. The cut got infected which made everything worse because of her current disease. My “mama” got worse and then she passed. The last thing I said to my “mama” was…. “I promise ill do better, ill do right, I promise I'm gonna make it for you.” Swavy's Family has launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover funeral expenses. It had raised more than $23,900 as of July 11th.
