Elizabeth Shaila Koshy was born on March 31, 1996, and raised in Houston, Texas. Her Indian father, Jose Koshy, is a petroleum executive and her mother, yoga instructor Jean Carol, is of German descent. She has two older sisters, Olivia and Rachel.
