The Hype House was officially announced on December 8, 2019 with an announcement video on TikTok. It included the following members:
In early 2020, the Hype House added more members; Larray, Nikita Dragun, Tayler Holder, Sienna Gomez, Eddie Preciado and Michael Sanzone.
At that same time, a feud erupted between Chase Hudson, Thomas Petrou and Daisy Keech. Keech claimed that Petrou and Hudson did not give her credit as the third founder of the Hype House. She also claimed that despite putting in much of the capital for the operation of the collective, she did not get the proportionate rewards and payments for the same. It was claimed that she had put in at least $46,000 for the first deposit for the mansion they had acquired in November 2019. She repeatedly claimed that Thomas never let her speak in interviews and took all the credit for everything the Hype House did. Daisy Keech eventually left the Hype House at the end of February 2020.
Later, after the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Charli and Dixie D’Amelio and Addison Rae also left the Hype House, citing issues with Hudson and Petrou, although they have no hard feelings against them, especially Petrou. Many of the founding members also left the Hype House later that year, with the exception of Alex Warren and Kouvr Annan, both of whom left the Hype House later in September 2021.
