The Sway House collective was created by TalentX Entertainment in January 2020, with Nick Bean as its creative director. TalentX assembled six of their 32 influencer clients to collaborate in creating and producing content that went viral. Even though their social media accounts are now inactive, the collective still has over 4.9 million followers on their @theswayla TikTok account and 1.1 million followers on their @swayla Instagram account.
Sway House was a real house and it served as a place for TikTokers to collaborate and popularise one another's profiles. TalentX Entertainment established the collective in January 2020 with the goal of “supporting, building, and growing their social imprint across platforms, traditional and new media, and into new verticals.”
Sway House was located in Los Angeles at 1939 Stradella Road, in a Bel Air estate. The TikTok influencers had rented out the mansion for free, which was worth over $10 million, during their relocation in January 2020.
Although the Sway House social media accounts are now inactive they still hold some loyal fans.

At age 21, Griffin Johnson was the eldest member of Sway House and a founding member. He has amassed over 9.9 million TikTok followers and 2.7 million on his Instagram account.

The group caused several issues around the wealthy neighborhood in LA where well-established families resided. The neighbors were not at all happy with the Sway House. According to the New York Times website, the gang led a frat-like lifestyle in the wealthy LA neighborhood, with constant loud music, frequent food and online delivery, and trash on the streets.
The group soon got involved with the police in Texas. On a road trip with the gang, Jaden Hossler and Bryce Hall were caught and arrested for drug possession. The star’s TikTok fans urged for their release and the hashtag #freesway was trending across social media platforms. The star collective was also held under scrutiny for holding large parties during COVID-19.
TalentX and Sway House cofounder Michael Gruen declared that the Sway House was disbanded in February 2021, saying, "If you view Sway as a content collective that lives together and is with each other every day, then yes, it's over." However, Sway always had a greater message, and that will always remain. According to Gruen, their objective was to "shatter the preconceived notion of what it means to be a social media star," and they think they succeeded in doing so.
The main reasons can be the constant chaos the group members got themselves into, noise and other complaints from the neighbors in LA’s posh area, and the arrest of Jaden Hossler and Bryce Hall in Texas for possessing marijuana.
Soon after these incidents, Jaden Hossler and Josh Richards left the collective to pursue their musical career before it disbanded. Following that the group began to fall out until it ended in 2021.
