Before getting on YouTube Corpse had been told several times by several people that he had the voice to do narration; more specifically, horror narration. Growing up, he used to listen to Creepypasta narration channels such as MrCreepyPasta, Chilling Tales for Dark Nights, and Cryaotic. Motivation struck him when he stumbled across channels like Mr. Nightmare, Be. Busta and Lazy Masquerade narrating true horror stories. He then got to work on his own channel, which would later become one of the most popular horror narration channels on YouTube.
In 2015, Corpse began his career on YouTube. The name Corpse Husband was created by Corpse in 20 minutes of pondering a name for his channel. Eventually, he came up with the name Corpse Husband.
