Matt was born on July 17, 1980, in Pueblo, Colorado. He married Zamolo in 2014 and 9 years later, the two welcomed their daughter Zadie Hope. Before even becoming a singer or YouTuber, Yoakum used to work in sales for Hilton Hotels in February 2003. He worked with them for six years before shifting his focus to singing and starting his own YouTube channel.
