The Shluv Family is a group of American internet personalities based out of Los Angeles, California.They consist of 5 members - Michael, Tiffany, Daniel, Jonathan and Tina Le. The group was founded by Michael Le in 2020. Michael himself has a popular solo career as a TikToker.

The Shluv Family are of Vietnamese descent. Michael Le, 22 is the eldest of Tina Le’s four children. The other three siblings include Tiffany, 15; Jonathan, 7 and Daniel, 5 in descending order.

The Shluv Family is one of the most popular family-friendly content creators on TikTok, with 11.9 million followers. What was started as a platform to showcase Michael Le’s dance and choreography skills, has turned into a successful platform for them to post challenges, pranks and vlogs, in addition to dance TikToks.

Initially, it was Jonathan Le’s personal account, where dance choreographies were posted. Usually the videos featured Michael and Jonathan Le dancing together, however, after TikTok took down his account due to Jonathan being under 13, it was rebranded as “The Shluv Family”.

In 2021, The Shluv Family partnered with Brat TV and Facebook to release an 11 episode reality series titled “The Shluv Family”. The series showcased the various ways the family enjoys spending time together, ranging from doing lie detector tests to making pizzas together.

In an interview with Celeb Secrets, Michael Le said that the key ingredient to making this series and their content work, is being comfortable with each other:

“I would say comfortability. Like, it’s not like I’m meeting someone for the first time and then it has kind of fake vibes or like it’s not as comfortable,” Michael said. “It kind of takes all of us to work well with each other to do well, I guess. Being able to do this show with my family is like, well, it was pretty cool because you know, we’re family.”

Michael also said in the interview that handling his mother’s fear of animals, and keeping his brothers Jonathan and Daniel focused on the shoot is quite difficult, having to coax the brothers often into doing things that are mandated for the day. The series premiered on June 29, 2021 on both Brat TV and Facebook.
