The Shluv Family is one of the most popular family-friendly content creators on TikTok, with 11.9 million followers. What was started as a platform to showcase Michael Le’s dance and choreography skills, has turned into a successful platform for them to post challenges, pranks and vlogs, in addition to dance TikToks.
Initially, it was Jonathan Le’s personal account, where dance choreographies were posted. Usually the videos featured Michael and Jonathan Le dancing together, however, after TikTok took down his account due to Jonathan being under 13, it was rebranded as “The Shluv Family”.
The Shluv Family’s biggest source of income is TikTok, as of 2022. They have been known to collaborate with other TikTok creators as well.
The Shluv Family is also popular on YouTube, where they have 653k subscribers till date. They post longer videos of challenges, pranks, vlogs and dance videos. Initially, the channel was started as “Jonathan’s World”, but after the enforcement of YouTube Guidelines, it was renamed “The Shluv Family”.
Michael Le, for one, is often seen pranking his younger siblings, sometimes making them laugh, sometimes making them annoyed or sometimes really hurt. Usually, Tina Le, the mother of the motley crew, is quite scared of pranks, considering her fear of animals and dislike of pranks. Their last upload was in November 2021, and the channel has not been active since then.

In 2021, The Shluv Family partnered with Brat TV and Facebook to release an 11 episode reality series titled “The Shluv Family”. The series showcased the various ways the family enjoys spending time together, ranging from doing lie detector tests to making pizzas together.
In an interview with Celeb Secrets, Michael Le said that the key ingredient to making this series and their content work, is being comfortable with each other:
“I would say comfortability. Like, it’s not like I’m meeting someone for the first time and then it has kind of fake vibes or like it’s not as comfortable,” Michael said. “It kind of takes all of us to work well with each other to do well, I guess. Being able to do this show with my family is like, well, it was pretty cool because you know, we’re family.”
Michael also said in the interview that handling his mother’s fear of animals, and keeping his brothers Jonathan and Daniel focused on the shoot is quite difficult, having to coax the brothers often into doing things that are mandated for the day. The series premiered on June 29, 2021 on both Brat TV and Facebook.
The Shluv Family, as of 2022, is worth $500k, according to several media sources and reports. The family earns mostly through social media posts, their web series appearances and their merchandise.
