Sway House, known popularly as SwayLA House online, is an American TikTok collective formed by TalentX Entertainment, in late 2019. At the time of its inception, the collective featured a selection of leading male TikTokers like Josh Richards, Griffin Johnson, Bryce Hall, Jaden Hossler, Noah Beck, Blake Gray, Anthony Reeves, Kio Cyr, and Quinton Griggs with Nick Bean serving as the creative director of the group. As of October 2022, the @theswayla TikTok handle has amassed over 5 million followers and over 89.7 million likes.
The TikTok collective was based out of Bel Air, Los Angeles, California, where popular TikTok superstars managed by TalentX Entertainment lived together in order to create content together in a bid to boost each other's popularity as envisaged by Michael Gruen and Gavin Rudolph, the VP and Talent Manager respectively of TalentX Entertainment.
Owing to the success of the already prosperous individual careers of all members of the Sway House, the collective as a whole took little time to become one of the most popular TikTok collectives. This enough created rumors that members of the Hype House, another LA-based collective considered the best collective, had a beef with the Sway House members.
Due to this notoriety and fame, Sway House was able to expand its presence exponentially and even launch its own exclusive limited-time merchandise as well as earn a number of deals with globally renowned brands to sponsor their products and services.
Despite all this success, the Sway House only survived for a year before it was officially shut down in February 2021 following a number of run-ins with the law.
The brainchild of the founder of Talent X Entertainment Michael Gruen, Sway House was born in 2019 in Los Angeles, California. After scouting a number of potential candidates, Michael approached Josh Richards, Griffin Johnson, Bryce Hall, Jaden Hossler, Noah Beck, Blake Gray, Anthony Reeves, Kio Cyr, and Quinton Griggs to formally become members of the Sway House.
In June 2020, Jaden Hossler and Josh Richards announced that they were taking a break from the group to focus on their music.
The Sway House has an estimated net worth that ranges anywhere between $4-$5 million. Most of their earnings come from their influential presence on Instagram and TikTok thanks to their star-studded roster which earns them a lot of sponsored work apart from brand deals and advertisements.
On TikTok, Sway House could potentially earn anywhere between $3.17k - $4.75k per post, excluding brand-sponsored deals. On Instagram, Sway House could earn anywhere between $367-$4K for a brand-sponsored post.
Michael Gruen had once stated the Sway House went from earning double digits to over six figures per month thanks to their success as a content house.
Sway House has managed to amass quite a massive following on TikTok and Instagram with over 5 million TikTok followers and over 1.4 million followers on Instagram.
Sway House was created in January 2020 in Los Angeles, by Michael Gruen. The original members of the house included Josh Richards, Griffin Johnson, Bryce Hall, Jaden Hossler, Noah Beck, Blake Gray, Anthony Reeves, Kio Cyr, and Quinton Griggs.
However, Josh Richards and Jaden Hossler left the collective in June 2020 after expressing their desire to pursue their passion for music individually.
After flouting a number of COVID-19 protocols and a collection of noise complaints, the Sway House was finally shut down in February 2021.
