Design and Performance

Slamvan in GTA V
(The interior of the Slamvan)

The Slamvan in GTA V is a vintage pickup truck modeled after the 1953-1956 Ford F-Series and the Chevrolet Advance Design, with the top half of the cab taken from a 67-72 Ford F-Series. It features a truck bed with wooden flooring, side border extensions, and a tailgate embossed with "VAPID" .

The rear bumper and tail lights are borrowed from the Towtruck, and the interior uses "Bobcat" textures and dials. The car is painted with a primary color on the body and a secondary color on the hood, upper part of the cabin, and upper borders of the bed, and it uses the same wheel design as the Towtruck.

The Slamvan has a modified V8 engine with four double-barrel carburetors, producing a unique engine sound similar to that of other heavy-duty vehicles in the game. Its performance is similar to the Rat-Loader and Rat-Truck, with average acceleration and top speed. However, its braking and traction abilities are notably poor, making it difficult to handle and stop at high speeds.
