The Freight Train (Container Car 1) in GTA V is a compact well car, consistently carrying a D-Rail branded shipping container. The car has five sections on its side walls and features narrow walkways at both ends, equipped with access ladders and guardrails.
The containers are flush with the walkways, and when viewed closely, their interior appears dark with a brighter rear section, typically indicating functional doors. These container cars always appear with a white primary color, while the containers are painted with a secondary color.
This vehicle cannot be modified.
The Freight Train appears in the mission Derailed.
The container car can be found attached to the Freight Train and cannot be controlled in the game.
In GTA Online, a fourth variant of the train car, freightcar2, was introduced in the Los Santos Tuners update, appearing only in The E.C.U Job/Finale.
A wrecked variant can be seen not so far from the La Mesa branch of Los Santos Customs, which has no markings and only one brake cylinder, mounted transversely.
