Rockstar Games succeeded in getting the right impressions and impact out of their characters, especially the antagonists, who have just the right personalities to bring out the player’s emotions, for or even against them. The protagonists have different personalities and yet can work well together. Trevor Philips has got to be the most risky and well made character that Rockstar Games has come up with. His psychotic behavior coupled with his loyalty towards his best friend turned out to be a perfect combination. Trevor, along with Michael who loves his family and Franklin with his hustling traits, make up the all-round trio of protagonists in GTA V.

Character movement, reactions, physics, etc. have all been extensively improved from the previous games. The game has focused on realism and the characters play a huge role in bringing that to the players.
