Prologue Mission in GTA 5

Prologue is the first mission in GTA 5. It includes Michael De Santa aka Townley and Trevor Philips.

This mission is set in 2004 in North Yankton. Michael and Trevor had been doing a few jobs together before this mission. They planned to rob the Bobcat Security Depot with Brad, when at the same time, Michael had other plans. He made a deal with Dave Norton to kill Trevor and get rid of him while he and his family would get new identities and settle down in Los Santos.

After their car got hit by a train when attempting to make it across the track in a car, they set out on foot to get to the helicopter. Things didn’t go as planned, as Dave ended up shooting and killing Brad instead of Trevor. Michael pretended to be shot too, and Trevor fled the scene. There was a fake funeral for Michael after which he and his family got their new identities and he retired from criminal life, until he met Franklin in 2013.

Aim at the hostages to make them move.
Use the phone to trigger the explosive charge.

Open the shutter door.
Return to the crew.
Escape the Cops.

Wait for the crew.
Drive to the helicopter pick up point.
Get back in the car.
Hold off the Cops.

Complete the mission.

Deaths and Destruction

Alex - Security guard at the gate, presumably killed prior to the trio gaining entry to the facility.
Jaspers – Killed by Trevor Philips for brandishing a gun at Michael.
Unknown hired driver – Shot by the police during the chase.
Brad Snider – Shot by Dave Norton while attempting to escape after the robbery.
Many unidentified North Yankton police officers.

After Mission

After the drama at North Yankton, Michael now has a new life in Los Santos with his family. He moves into a mansion at Rockford Hills with a new name Michael De Santa. Trevor lives in Sandy Shores unaware of the fact that Michael is still alive. Michael soon meets Franklin on the next mission, where he points a gun at him while Franklin tries to repossess the car Jimmy bought from Simeon Yetarian.

Trivia

The wanted level in this mission does not add time to the wanted level stats for Michael and Trevor.
In the original version of the game, Dave Norton wears sunglasses at the funeral. In the enhanced version, he wears a beanie instead.
Michael and Trevor can't use their special abilities in this mission.
