The Banshee is the single or double-striped 2-door Coupe that you may spot on the roads of Vinewood Hills and Rockford Hills in Los Santos. Banshee has a slightly better performance in GTA 5 as compared to the versions of the car in the previous GTA games.
The Banshee is a sports car with really good acceleration and braking. Overall it is a fast car with a top speed of 117.75 mph, which is quite good in the game, but not the best. The handling of this car has improved compared to GTA IV, and it would make a good escape car. However, it is terrible off-road and isn’t great with cornering either.
The Banshee does not have a prominent appearance in any mission but can be seen for a second or two in the “Strangers And Freaks” mission, “Vinewood Souvenirs-Kerry” where the car almost hits Dexie the dog, while being chased down the street.

The Banshee has a stunning overall design and catches the eye very quickly when spotted on the road. It now spawns only with a vented hood and its famous single or double stripes. The exhausts are at the sides and it has a factory spoiler.
However, the performance of the car does not keep up with its looks. The unmodded banshee has a top speed of around 115 mph which is no match for similar cars like the Infernus or the Zentorno. It gives a player a really good drive but lacks in certain areas like high speed cornering, due to its weight distribution. The car can however be modified and its looks and performance can be drastically improved. All it takes is a little cash.
