Mesa(Merryweather) In GTA 5

The Mesa (Merryweather) in GTA V is a specialized variant of the standard Mesa, resembling the Jeep J8, and is predominantly used by Merryweather Security. This version boasts off-road enhancements, including reinforced bumpers, skid plates, a winch, side steps, and a robust tubular frame with a roof rack and rooftop high-power lights.

It has increased wheel arch clearance and can accommodate larger wheels and tires, with a snorkel for water wading. The vehicle may appear with or without a solid roof, which can be painted separately. It features a primary color on the body and roof and a secondary color on the exo-skeleton, bumpers, and spare tire rim, sharing wheel design with the Sandking XL.

The Mesa (Merryweather) offers slightly lower performance than the standard variant but compensates with superior off-road capabilities and durability. It can achieve decent top speeds, although its high center of gravity makes it prone to tipping over, a problem that can be mitigated by lowering the suspension.

The vehicle's robust tubular exoskeleton makes it highly resilient to damage. It boasts impressive torque, enabling it to conquer steep hills, surpassing the standard Mesa in this regard. However, despite its snorkel, it cannot be submerged in deep water due to the exhaust's low positioning. The vehicle is powered by a V8 engine with all-wheel drive.

• This vehicle cannot be modified.

• Minor Turbulence - Multiple Mesas can be seen in the cargo plane and one has to be used to jump out of the plane.

• The Wrap Up - Merryweather Mesas can be spotted in the parking lot of the Kortz Center during the escape in the mission the Wrap Up.

• Meltdown - The Merryweather men attacking Michael’s home arrive in Mesas.

• The Third Way - Multiple Merryweather soldiers arrive in Mesas during at the foundry.

• The Merryweather variant of the Canis Mesa can be obtained only from missions. However they cannot be obtained by simply replaying the missions.

• The color of the spare tire changes depending on the color selected in the Secondary Color slot at LS Customs.

• As is the case with the Bodhi, when switching to high beams, the roll cage lights will activate.

• The Merryweather Mesa can be modified at any Los Santos Customs in both GTA V and GTA Online. However, the bodywork cannot be modified.
