Mile High Club in GTA 5

The Mile High Club is a building under construction located in Pillbox Hill, Los Santos in GTA V.

This construction site, along with a smaller one next to it, is located on the block between Alta Street, Power Street, Vespucci Boulevard and Adam's Apple Boulevard in Pillbox Hill, Downtown Los Santos. This construction site is the second tallest structure in Los Santos which is also a parachute jump spot where two parachutes can be found.

There is a joke among GTA V players that the Mile High Club construction will never be finished and it still hasn’t been completed to date.

Background

The Mile High Club is most likely based on the JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton hotel building part of L.A Live in Los Angeles. The Mile High Club building in GTA V is the second tallest structure in Los Santos, the tallest being the Maze Bank Tower. It has a crane attached at the top which can be reached by the player by climbing a ladder.

The STD Contractors are the builders with Enzo Bonelli being the contractor. The main architect is Chip Peterson and the interiors are done by Even Architecture and Design. In an advertisement, the construction company describes the Mile High Club as "Downtown's newest and most exciting complex".

The Pillbox South Station of the Los Santos transit is located just next to the construction site.

The Construction Assassination
This mission takes place on the rooftop of the construction site where Franklin Clinton is given the mission to assassinate target Enzo Bonelli.
Architect's Plans
In this mission, Michael has to retrieve some blueprints from a briefcase from Chip Peterson, the building’s main architect for Lester Crest.

Trivia

Some of the wooden support beams towards the top of the tower are not solid and can be passed through by the player.
The term "Mile High Club" is a slang term applied collectively to individuals who have had sex while on board an aircraft in flight.
