He is the best gunman in the game and causes no consequences in any heist whatsoever. However he has the highest heist cut of 14%.

Gustavo Mota or Gus as he is called mentions that he is from East Los Santos and used to be a member of the Vagos. He carried out small drug heists for them. He was able to leave the gang after he scored around two hundred thousand from a broken-down security van and got a cut from that before the major amount went to the Vagos.
Gustavo Mota can be chosen in all heists as a gunman. He does not cause any consequences in any of the heists. Lester calls him a pro and states there is nothing else that can be said about him.

His catchphrase is "You know what I'm saying?". He also has a tendency to refer to the protagonists as "homies".
He is involved already with the "expert" level crew members of heist robbers for Lester Crest, along with Paige Harris and Eddie Toh.
If the player picks Packie and Gus for The Bureau Raid (Covert), then one of them will be caught in the explosion, but will only get injured as opposed to being killed like if the player picks a gunman with lower skills.
Although he does not truly speak Spanglish (a combination of English and Spanish), which is common amongst Hispanic residents of Los Santos, his accent is clearly Mexican.
