Lacey Jonas started off as a teen actress working in high school movies. She considers herself a role model for teenagers. During the events of GTA 5, she was around 23 years old and already had quite the fame and fan following. She is very conscious about her image and also thinks she is fat, even though she isn’t. The paparazzi are always after her and she even claims that one photo of her can reach a six-figure price.
Lacey Jonas is found as part of a random event hiding from the paparazzi in an alleyway in Downtown Vinewood. This random event can be triggered by any of the three protagonists. When the protagonist finds her, she will ask him to take her away from the paparazzi. The player has to drop her home after getting away from the paparazzi that are following them. Each of the protagonists have a different reaction to Lacey revealing her identity.
If playing as Trevor, Lacey can be taken to the Altruist Cult. However, this does not seem to be the canon choice as she appears again in GTA Online.
Lacey Jonas is a young woman with blonde hair. She is seen wearing a black leather jacket over a short gray dress. She wears some kind of bands on both her wrists and has a scarf around her neck, probably to cover herself while hiding from the paparazzi. She has light blue eyes and wears red lipstick.

Sometimes, when using a cab as any protagonist, the driver may claim that Lacey once sniffed six lines of cocaine in the back seat of his cab.
Her surname is a possible reference to the Jonas Brothers, a popular boy band from the late 2000s.
An internet news article from Prattle, after the mission By The Book, claims that Lacey may be having an affair with Chad Mulligan.
Lacey Jonas’ in-game face model is also used for Kerry McIntosh in GTA V and is also shared by certain NPCs who can be found around the rich parts of Los Santos, notably the cashier in SubUrban who has a speaking role in Friend Request.
