Mission Row Police Station in GTA 5

The design of the Mission Row Police Station is based on the LAPD Olympic Station in Los Angeles. The LAPD has an actual police station and division called Mission which could be the inspiration of the name of the police station in Grand Theft Auto. The Mission Row police station is the only accessible police station in the HD universe.

The interiors of the police station can be explored by the player, however a few restricted areas will give the player a wanted level.

Female officers can only be found around this police station as only male officers arrive in an emergency when the player has a wanted level. There are many different sounds that can be heard inside the station including typing sounds, phones ringing and even the police radio.

The mission row police station also contains the vehicle impound within its building from where the last two cars lost by the player can be collected for $250 each.

The player respawns at the Mission Row Police Station if busted closest to this location. If an officer around or at the station is attacked, or if a restricted area at the station is visited by the player, a three-star wanted level is received. If the player lands a helicopter on the roof they will receive a two-star wanted level after a warning.

The Mission Row Police Station appears in the mission Eye In The Sky in which Trevor walks up to the roof to access the Police Maverick.

A body armor and a Sprunk vending machine are located inside the reception area of the Mission Row Police Station.

• Bumping into NPCs in the lobby may result in one or more of them attacking the player. Even talking to them will somehow trigger other NPCs to engage in combat. If the player doesn’t react to the NPC after being hit, the cops will shoot the attacker.

• During the Police Station Business Battle in GTA Online, a female plain-clothes officer or detective will spawn inside the Captain's office using a generic NPC model. She will fire a Pistol at the player, like a Police Officer but she drops cash when killed, like a pedestrian.

• In GTA V, the player can enter the Mission Row Police Station through any door. In GTA Online one can only enter via the roof and back door after the Heists Update.
