Morningwood is a neighborhood in the northern part of Los Santos in GTA V.
It is surrounded by Richman to the north, Backlot City to the south, Del Perro to the west, and Rockford Hills to the east. It is a residential and business area. It is an expensive neighborhood where luxurious brands and businesses can be found.

Morningwood is based on Westwood in Los Angeles. Many luxurious businesses like G&B are located in Morningwood with many smaller neighborhood businesses along Morningwood Boulevard. Multiple Vintage Theaters are located in Morningwood which can be interacted with by the player. The neighborhood is divided into residential and business districts with the northern side being the residential and the southern being the business district.
In the mission Three’s Company, Ferdinand Kerimov is “rescued” from the IAA HQ and taken to a warehouse by Trevor, to be tortured in the mission By The Book. Kerimov mentions that he just wants to go back to his family in Morningwood.
