These water tanks are based on the painted water tanks in Calipatria, California and they are located just next to Salvation Mountain. They can be found at Calafia Road near the Alamo Sea in Blaine County. There are colorful aliens painted on the tanks in somewhat of a Warli style of painting and the words, “Karma", "Life", "Happiness", and "Pleasure" can be spotted around the tanks.
Between 11:00 am and 11:00 pm, two pairs of Hippies might be seen doing yoga on the top of the water tanks. A Surfer might also be seen parked next to the tanks during this time.
The location “Stab City” in Grand Theft Auto 5, is based on Slab City in California which is a location very close to Calipatria where the painted water tanks are found.
