Alubarna in One Piece

Alubarna is located in the northeast part of Alabasta and is built in a plateau near an oasis. The buildings in Alubarna are inspired from the Islamic architecture like domed shaped buildings and towers. The entrance of the city is followed by five long flights of stars that are located around the city. The southern gate is the main entrance to the city. The Alubarna Palace is located in this place where the royal family lives.

It is located at the center of the city and has many luxuries like a lush rooftop garden and secret passageways. The Medi Assembly hall is located at the North Block where two great battles took place but nothing is known about it. The Polka Street is located towards the South Block.

The Central City Square is a large, circular place where all the people meet and is just outside the Alabasta Palace. Alubarna is known for it's Alubarna Clock Tower that the Suna Suna Clan use as a secret base. The top is a large open area and the interior of the clock can only be accessed from a specific pair of stairs on the bottom floor.

The Tombs of Kings is also located to the West of the Alubarna Palace where all the people from the royal family are buried. This also has the Hidden Poneglyph of Alabasta which talks about the location of one of their Ancient Weapons, Pluton.

The Nefertari Royal Family ruled Alabasta for eight hundred years. Later on Toto, a villager from an unnamed village traveled to Alabasta with his son to ask the king to aid their village which had dried up. Once they reached there, Toto's son, Koza went to the Palace and told the king that why didn't he save their village from their current situation.

When Toto heard what Koza did he rushed over to the Palace and expected the king to punish them, but instead the King told Toto that the country would temporarily give accommodation to the villagers of that town until a solution was found. When Toto and the rest of the villagers came to Alabasta they witnessed how the Royal Family of Alabasta mingled with their town's people and how Koza and Vivi started becoming friends, the king was really humane and wasn't all high and mighty at all.

After a lot of planning, Toto and the King found a solution to the drought problem. It was decided that Toto and the villagers would settle in an oasis in the west of Alabasta and thus Yuba was founded. Yuba acted as an intersection for all sorts of merchants to do trade.

Toto and the other villagers prepared to leave Alabasta to create Yuba and when they were leaving Toto shook hands with King and promised him that they would make Yuba a town which helped Alabasta prosper.

After a while Yuba was hit by a drought during which the country experienced a lack of rain. When it started raining the villagers thought that it was due to the king's blessing until Dance power was discovered. The people who delivered the Dance Powder (Baroque Works agents in disguise) brought a large shipment of Dance Powder from Nanohana.

They had staged an accident in which the cart would break and the Dance Powder it contained got spilled. When they were taken to the King, they lied saying that the King had ordered the Powder to be delivered to Alubarna, the city where it rained the most. Many people fled after this accident and started to doubt the King.

Later on, more Dance Powder was found at the Royal Palace and while there were some people who knew that the King would never do this but some people were still in doubt. Koza traveled to Alubarna to question the King about the drought and the use of Dance Powder for the rest of the country but didn't receive a convincing response, declaring to the King that he would join the Rebel Army and fight for the rain.

During the Utopia Operation, Mr. 2 and the Billions working under him headed towards Nanohana under the disguise of Nefertari Cobra and the Royal Guards and pretended to apologize for the Dance Powder incident. With their fake apology, the fake Cobra ordered that Nanohana should be set on fire in order to erase the existence of the incident.

Koza came all the way from Katorea to Nanohana to reason with the fake Cobra but got shot in the process by a Billion. Mr. 1 and Miss Doublefinger crashed into Nanohana's port which crashed half the town. This whole incident was planned by the mastermind Mr. 0 who had successfully riled up the population. A young local boy saw Mr. 2's ability at work and figured out that the real Cobra hadn't ordered Nanohana to be destroyed.

Sadly the young local boy was caught by Mr. 1 and Miss Doublefinger, who tried to silence him. Luckily, the boy survived but he wasn't able to inform the Rebel Army of what he had seen. Later on, when Ingram, who had survived Miss All Sunday's attack recovered, arrived at Nanohana and heard Kappa's (the local young boy) story, he brought him to Alubarna so that he could tell the rebel army and the royal soldiers of what he saw.

The people living in Alabarna are;

Nefertari Cobra

He is the 12th King of the Alabasta Kingdom. He was known to have a part in the dissolving of the Seven Warlords of the Sea meeting.

Nefertari Titi

She was the Queen of the Labasta Kingdom and the wife of Nefertari Cobra. She passed away when Vivi was just a child.

Nefertari Vivi

She is the princess of the Alabasta Kingdom and the daughter of Nefertari Cobra and Titi. she was a part of the Suna Suna Clan.

Igaram

He is the Captain of the Alabasta Royal Guard. He helped Vivi in infiltrating Baroque Works and became an agent under the codename Mr. 8.

Pell

He is one of the head guards in Alabasta that serve under Igaram. He is known to be the strongest fighter in Alabasta.

Karoo

He is Vivi’s pet who is a spot- billed duck. She uses him as a mode of transportation and he never left Vivi’s side
