The Giraffe SMILE grants the user the physical characteristics of a giraffe. When Hamlet ate the Giraffe SMILE Fruit, he got an entire giraffe body from the top of the neck which emerges from his back. The Giraffe's head is replaced by Hamlet's whole body. Just like the Zoan Devil Fruit user, SMILE users can also transform into animals.

When Hamlet ate the Giraffe SMILE he gained all the characteristics of a Giraffe. The Giraffe’s body is so strong that it can stay upright and also support Hamlet's weight too. Hamlet also wields two cutlasses in combat. To defeat his enemies, he kicks them strongly in the jaw.
Hamlet’s Giraffe body is very strong and it can even carry Hamlet’s weight. Hamlet also has enhanced physical abilities and can hold down power opponents too.
Though the Giraffe's body is strong enough to stay upright and support Hamlet's weight, he can only barely do it as we can see his body trembling. Due to the illegal chemicals used for making them, only one out of every ten SMILE fruits will have all the abilities of a Zoan type devil fruit but irrespective of whether they do or not, they will cause the user to lose their ability to swim. They will be devoid of all negative emotions and will be forced to laugh and smile despite what they are truly feeling.
